GARY L. JOHNSON DVM
Dr. Johnson, a bird-dog vet known to many, loves the sport of field trialing labradors. He hasbeen training bird dogs and trialing his dogs since the 1970's, a long time passion and hobby. A true appreciation for the sporting dog types, Dr. Johnson is fond of the bond between a dog and his owner and enjoys hearing stories from his clients.
Dr. Johnson lives overlooking the tulip fields and runs each day with his dog. He lives with his wife, Peggy and their pet dogs including a Cairn Terrier, Terrier mix, Australian Shepherds, Labrador and Horse and parrot!
Janice Rhodes DVM
Dr Rhodes joined Highland Animal Clinic in the fall of 2009 with 23 years practice experiencein the San Diego area. She actively enjoyed practicing medicine and her special interest in surgeryin a multi doctor practice and brings her enthusiasm to the Highland team.
Dedication, compassion and thoroughness are applied to each case that she works. Her warm friendly approach brings comfort to our clients as they are assured their pet will be treated with the utmost care. Dr Rhodes takes time to listen to each client and explains all issues with care for each pet.
She has special interest in skin disorders, dental disease and surgery. Her application of acupuncture and understanding of complimentary medicine helps serve her patients with excellence. She lives locally with her two georgeous golden retrievers and husband! She looks forward to meeting all of Highland Animal Clinic's dedicated and new clientel
Rebecca Moody DVM
Dr. Moody grew up with animals and has been involved in veterinary medicine since 1991. She worked from veterinary receptionist to technician over 9 years while pursuing her education and goals to become a veterinarian. She graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2002. She came to work for Highland Animal Clinic from 2002 through 2003 and then began practicing veterinary medicine on Whidbey Island closer to her home. We are delighted to have her join our team again!
She brings a special interest in internal medicine, feline medicine and loves challenging cases. She lives on Whidbey Island with her husband who practices as a large animal veterinarian. She brings special skills to the practice including Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation, a chiropractic method that is part of the program of holistic and complementary medicine offered at Highland Animal Clinic. Dr. Moody looks forward to seeing you and your pets and being part of your pet's excellent health care team.
