Taree G - Specialty Cat Groomer - Thursdays Kitty Spa Day!
Taree is a specialty kitty groomer and features a dry bath system for cats that cannot tolerate the water experience along with regular bathing systems. She specializes in clipping down matted kitties that like to sport a "lion clip" for half of the year. She handles each feline with expertise and care, minimizing the stress on your cat's experience. Taree loves cats and treats each client as it is her own kitty. The cat's especially like the toys that Taree sends home during each groom. No doggies are allowed during kitty spa days, so you can be assured your cat's safety is the utmost of importance at Highland Animal Clinic.
Sedation grooming is available at Highland Animal Clinic and is supervised by the veterinarians on staff.
From shorthair cats to long hair matted cats, Taree can handle your requests and help your cat feel comfortable during the process. Please call to schedule your kitty cat's grooming with Taree or request an appointment online. Taree is available on Thursdays for your kitties spa day. Drop in and see our clinic mascot "Bigfoot" who sports a lion/mowhawk cut - now named the "Bigfoot Cut", great for cats that can't keep clean or matt easily on the underside.
Nail Trimming
Cat Nail trimming is offered by either grooming or our veterinary technician staff. We are always happy to show you how or we will be happy to assist you with this to keep your kitty from being destructive with clawing and scratching behavior.
Soft Paws, the Alternative to Declawing
Save your furniture and carpeting! Soft Paws applications are an easy, inexpensive and non-permanent way to stop your kitty from being destructive with his or her claws. Our staff will happily apply these during grooming or make an appointment for a special Soft Paws application to try this method that is kinder than declawing. Fun, playful colors are available or just ask for black or clear. Applications last around 6 weeks and we trim back nail tips during each application. We still offer declawing as a surgical alternative for kitties that cannot modify their behavior, but many cat owners find Soft Paws a great alternative to the permanent and more painful surgical intervention.
