Yearly Physical Examination & Pet Vaccinations:
We recommend annual physical exams for your pet to ensure that your pet is receiving the best medical attention and is on schedule for appropriate pet vaccinations to maintain optimal health. We follow American Animal Hospital Association recommendations and guidelines on vaccinations for your pet, which may includes three year core vaccines based on lifestyle interview to design appropriate program for your pet.
Dentistry:
Good oral health for your pet can result in a longer and happier life! During our yearly physical examination, we will examine your pet’s mouth for any dental issues. We always provide FREE dental exams for your pet and will happily discuss dental care with you. At our animal hospital we offer a myriad of dental services, including: oral and dental exams, Piezo dental scaling & cleaning, polishing, digital x-rays, extractions, sealants and fracture repair. Diagnostic and Lab Procedures:
We provide blood and lab services, and usually provide results within 24 hours.We have a full service on site laboratory for STAT results. Our licensed veterinary technicians help deliver quick results to our veterinarian to ensure your pet receives immediate attention when needed. Often we complete routine screening and blood tests while you wait, so you can relax knowing results when you go home with your pet.
Telemedicine Specialists:
Our fully integrated in-house laboratory and diagnostic services utilizes Idexx Telemedicine Specialists. You can trust that we have immediate access to board certified veterinary specialists in cardiology, radiology and internal medicine. With the click of a button we can send xrays, ECGs and ultrasounds to these specialists that can interepret and send results in as little as 20 minutes. This real time care assures you that we can provide accurate, efficient and thorough medicine to your pet.
Emergency Care:
We offer emergency services during normal working hours. If your pet is in need of emergency care after hours, call our main line and we will provide you instructions on how to handle the situation. We provide after hours guidance in certain situations so feel free to discuss your concerns with our knowledgeable staff.
Pet Surgery Services:
With our advanced anesthetic capabilities and surgical equipment, we can guarantee safety and comfort for your pet. We specialize in pet neutering and spaying, orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, tumor removals, bladder surgery, ear cropping, declawing and many other specific procedures. Our well equipped surgical suite allows each pet to be closely monitored and we assign individual pain management treatments to each patient. Advanced Surgical Services:
If you pet needs a referral for advanced surgical procedures, we have in-house referral for services. Dr. Mark Davis and Northwest Veterinary Surgery, comes to our practice and provides experienced, cutting edge surgical services for your pet. For many pet owners, this saves the time of commuting to Seattle and beyond for services and follow up care. We also refer to Specialty Practices, but will always provide an option for your pet to be close to home with excellent care. Dr. Mark Davis is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). Dr. Davis is a 1993 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University and completed his small animal surgical residency at Texas A&M University. He has been board certified since 1999 and has extensive experience in orthopedic, soft tissue/reconstructive and neurosurgical techniques.
Board certification by an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) recognized specialty ensures your pet is receiving the highest level of care possible. Board certification comes only after years of rigorous training and testing to prove that the candidate has attained the level of proficiency to allow Diplomate status. Our veterinary team is committed to providing complimentary medicine as part of your pet's complete health care. We offer nutritional supplements for many conditions along with preventative maintenance, Acupuncture, Massage and Chiropractic - Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation to our patients to treat a variety of disorders and conditions. Please ask about our free consultation and first visit to find out more about these services for your pet. We offer packaged plans to provide these services and nutritionals to manage conditons like arthritis, disc disease, pain and other disease processes. Professional Dog and Cat Grooming:
Dogs and cats are not the same! We have a Master Groomer providing full service grooming to our clients. From medicated spa baths to finished scissor grooming, your pet will look and feel the best. Our Hydro Surge bath technology deep cleans the skin and coat leaving a feel and look superior to a regular bath. Our specialized cat groomer is available on Thursdays and kitties are guaranteed solitude from doggies on their spa day. We keep a calm and soothing environment to reduce stress on your kitty. From full brush out and bath or dry bath for cats that can't do water, or our famous lion cut trims - your cat will feel like royalty! Come see our clinic kitty "BigFoot" who sports a lion cut with a mowhawk - which several clients now ask for his haircut by his name - "The BigFoot Cut". We have a few dog owners who have requested this trendy cut too!
Hospitalization:
While your pet is in our animal hospital, we provide daily meals, monitoring, and safety. Our trained staff will communicate directly with you about your pet's progress. We encourage you to come see your pet during our visiting hours.
Pharmacy:
We carry a full line of medications for your pet including vitamin and mineral supplements, shampoo and fur cleaners, flea and tick control, and heartworm medication. Additionally, we offer prescription medications and offer many generic medications to help save you dollars.
Payment
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MC, Discover and Care Credit for payment. We offer individualized payment plans through Extend Credit and will be happy to discuss this option further with you.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 4 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
